WALKING · 30 DAYS
A walk a day, for a month.
Walking is the easiest challenge to start and one of the easiest to keep. Pick a time, pick a length, and let a streak you can see do the rest.
Pick a number you’ll keep
Thirty minutes a day is a popular goal. If that is a lot right now, start at 10 or 15 minutes and keep the streak; a short walk every day beats a long one twice.
Keep it interesting
- Walk the same loop on weekdays and somewhere new at weekends.
- Use it as a phone call, a podcast or a no-phone half hour.
- Walk with someone: invite them to the same challenge and see each other’s streaks.
- Take a photo from the same spot on day 1 and day 30.
When the weather or the week gets in the way
Split it into two walks, walk indoors, or let the Streak Shield cover one missed day. If you know you’ll walk most days but not all, plan the challenge for every 2 days instead.
Track it in ProofDays
Set it up as Custom: Walk, 30 minutes a day, 30 days.
- Set the target once. Reps, minutes, or simply done. Pick the length (3 to 365 days) and how often: every day, or every 2 to 7 days with rest days that never break your streak.
- Stamp the day. One tap when you are done. Log extra reps whenever you do them; the total counts them all. A reminder at the time you choose, and a gentle nudge at 8 pm if you haven’t stamped yet.
- Miss one, keep going. Each challenge has a Streak Shield that covers one missed day automatically.
- Keep the proof. Take an optional before photo. At the end you get a before-and-after proof card and a short reveal video. Both are free to share.
- Bring someone. Invite a partner or a small group to the same challenge and cheer each other on.
These plans are general ideas, not medical advice. If you are new to exercise, pregnant, recovering from an injury or have a health condition, check with a doctor or physiotherapist first, and stop if something hurts.
Questions
Is walking every day enough exercise?+
Regular walking is a good base for most people. Build up the time or pace as it gets easy.
What counts as a walk?+
You decide when you set the challenge: minutes walked, or simply done once you’ve had your walk.
Can I do a walking challenge with a friend?+
Yes. Invite a partner or a small group in ProofDays and you each keep your own streak on the same challenge.
